Taking a holistic approach to financial planning, Kimberly Murphy’s 24+ years in the financial services industry make her the ideal partner to her clients.  She joined McDonald Partners in 2005, and has been involved in developing financial planning software and delivering financial planning services to advisors and their clients.  In 2017, Kim joined the Lowrie Wealth Management Group as the dedicated financial planner to the team.  She is product agnostic and devises individualized solutions based on financial situations, goals and time frames.  Always agile, part of her overall strategy is to adjust the client’s financial plan based on their changing circumstances.

As a Certified Financial Planner® professional since 2000, Kim has been assisting clients and advisors alike in the creation and deployment of Financial Plans and Financial Plan Reviews.  Her experience includes many years on the administration side of the brokerage business, assisting management in the successful fiscal management of a 50-office operation for a regional brokerage firm.  Kim has been involved in everything from recruiting, building offices and developing compensation plans… to managing offices and their profit and loss statements.

A graduate of Mercyhurst College, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Finance, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Cleveland State University.  Kim also holds a Master of Science degree in Personal Financial Planning from the College for Financial Planning.

Outside of work, Kim sits on the Board of Directors for the Financial Planning Association of Northeast Ohio.  She also is an Advisory Board Member for the H. Kenneth Barker Center for Economic Education.  Plus, Kim is an advocate for teaching financial literacy to the next generation through her work with Junior Achievement.
